Guardian setup · about 3 minutes
Protect your child in four simple steps.
We’ll show one step at a time. You can come back and edit anything later.
Setup complete
Your Reunite setup is ready to test.
Scan a physical pin from a second phone to complete the real finder/SMS acceptance path.
Account
The fastest way in is the best way.
Google sign-in will be available soon.
Use email instead
Your account and child data belong to you. Schools and community partners do not receive access.
Next, choose whether to enable SMS verification and Reunite family-safety alerts.
Mobile number
Where should Reunite alerts go?
Enter your number normally—we handle the +1 formatting for you. You can keep your Reunite account without enabling SMS; a verified alert number is required before activating a Reunite pin.
This is where Reunite alerts will go.
Child profile
Choose what a finder should know.
Add optional details
Profile photo
Optional
JPG, PNG, or WebP up to 5 MB. The server re-encodes the image and strips embedded metadata before storage.
Reunite pin
Activate the pin.
Enter the activation code that came with the physical pin. The QR itself contains a different opaque public token.
Test your pin
Use the physical QR from a second phone
- Open the native camera on a second phone. Do not install an app and do not sign in.
- Scan one of the selected child’s active physical Reunite pins and open the QR link.
- Confirm the finder page shows only the guardian-approved profile, then choose a real notify action.

Account & privacy controls
Deleting the selected child profile immediately revokes its active pins, removes public profile data, purges retained precise finder coordinates, and queues any stored profile photo for deletion. Deleting the account applies the same privacy cleanup to every child and signs you out.
